Usage Note
Otro never takes an indefinite article in Spanish — saying un otro is a classic learner error; the correct form is simply otro libro 'another book'. It inflects for gender and number: otra, otros, otras. The phrase el uno al otro means 'each other', and otra vez 'another time / again' is extremely common in everyday speech.
Examples
"Dame otro vaso de agua."
Natural Translation
Give me another glass of water.
