others
Usage Note
Demás is invariable (same form for m/f, sg/pl) and always precedes a noun with a definite article: los demás estudiantes ('the other/remaining students'), or stands alone as a pronoun: los demás ('the others'). It is not used without an article except in set phrases like por lo demás ('apart from that, otherwise'). Do not confuse with demasiado ('too much/many').
Examples
"Los demás alumnos ya terminaron."
Natural Translation
The other students have already finished.
Literal Translation
The other students already have-finished
