demasiado
too much, too many
adverb adjective determiner deh-mah-SYAH-doh Less Common

too (modifying adjectives/adverbs)
Usage Note
Demasiado functions as an adverb when it modifies a verb or adjective (habla demasiado, es demasiado caro) and as an adjective/determiner when it modifies a noun, in which case it agrees in gender and number: demasiada azúcar, demasiados errores. Unlike mucho, it always implies excess beyond a desirable limit.
