Usage Note
Tuyo is the strong (stressed) possessive pronoun, agreeing in gender and number: tuya, tuyos, tuyas. It follows the noun when used as an adjective (un amigo tuyo) and stands alone as a pronoun (el tuyo). The idiom salirse con la tuya means 'to get your own way', and los tuyos refers to 'your people' or family.
