Usage Note

Revelación can be a religious or divine revelation, a surprising disclosure of information, or colloquially a person who turns out to be a star revelation (fue la revelación del torneo). Do not confuse with rebelión (rebellion) — the spelling and meaning are quite different despite sounding similar.
