Usage Note
Rencor is a deep, lasting bitterness. Guardar rencor (to bear a grudge) and sin rencor (no hard feelings) are fixed phrases. The adjective is rencoroso/rencorosa (resentful, bitter). Unlike rabia (immediate anger) or enojo (annoyance), rencor implies a feeling nursed over time.
