Usage Note

Racional means based on reason or logic, and is invariable for gender: un enfoque racional, una decisión racional. Its antonym is irracional. In mathematics, número racional refers to a rational number (expressible as a fraction). The noun racionalidad means rationality, and racionalizar means to rationalize.
