ninguno

none

determiner neen-GOO-noh Common

Also means

no one (pronoun use)

Usage Note

Ninguno apocopates to ningún before a masculine singular noun: ningún problema (never ninguno problema). It is normally singular; the plural ningunos/ningunas exists but is rare, used mainly with nouns that lack a singular (e.g. ningunas ganas). When it follows the verb, a double negative is required: No hay ningún error.

Examples

"No tengo ningún libro aquí."

Natural Translation

I don't have any book here.
