Usage Note
Leve describes something of little weight, importance, or intensity: una leve mejoría (a slight improvement), heridas leves (minor injuries). It is the opposite of grave. This contrast is especially common in medical and legal reporting. It is invariable for gender, changing only to leves in the plural.
