Acelerado can describe pace (ritmo acelerado, 'fast pace') or someone acting recklessly (conduce muy acelerado, 'he drives very aggressively'). In informal speech, calling a person acelerado means they are hot-headed or impulsive rather than literally speeding. The noun form is aceleración.
