kuwaití

Kuwaiti

adjective koo-wah-EE-tee Rare

Usage Note

Kuwaití ends in a stressed vowel, so it forms its plural by adding -es: kuwaitíes. It functions both as an adjective (el dinar kuwaití) and as a noun (los kuwaitíes). The feminine form is identical: la deportista kuwaití. The written accent is required to mark the stress on the final syllable.

Examples
