Antioqueño refers to things or people from Antioquia, the Colombian department whose capital is Medellín. As a demonym it is also a noun (los antioqueños). Antioqueños have a distinctive regional accent and cultural identity in Colombia; the variant paisa is widely used colloquially for the same people.
