Usage Note
Jugado is the past participle of jugar used as an adjective, meaning a match or card already played. It can also describe a seasoned player who is 'well-played' or streetwise — un hombre muy jugado implies someone who has seen it all. This colloquial sense is more common in Latin America than in Spain.
