Incorporar means 'to incorporate' or 'to add (in)', and incorporarse (reflexive) means 'to join' or 'to sit/stand up' from a lying position: el paciente se incorporó en la cama = 'the patient sat up in bed'. This reflexive use to mean 'to report for duty' or 'to join an organization' (incorporarse al trabajo) has no direct English equivalent.
