Usage Note
Hacer is one of the most versatile Spanish verbs: it covers both 'to do' and 'to make'. In weather expressions it is impersonal (hace frío/calor/sol). In time expressions, hace + period + que marks elapsed time (Hace dos años que vivo aquí). Its irregular yo-form is hago.
