Usage Note
Ghanés denotes a person from Ghana or something relating to Ghana. Like many nationality adjectives in Spanish, it can function as both noun and adjective: un ghanés (a Ghanaian man), la cultura ghanesa (Ghanaian culture). The feminine form is ghanesa. The accent on the final syllable is required because the word ends in -s (aguda with written accent).
Examples
"La delegación ghanesa llegó ayer a Madrid."
Natural Translation
The Ghanaian delegation arrived in Madrid yesterday.
