Enrabietado derives from rabieta (tantrum, fit of rage) and describes someone in the grip of a childish or uncontrolled fury. It implies the anger is somewhat petulant or disproportionate, unlike the more neutral enfadado or enojado. It is commonly used of children throwing tantrums but can be applied ironically to adults. Always used with estar.
