Usage Note
Doma is the noun from domar ('to tame, to break in') and refers primarily to the training and breaking-in of horses. In equestrian sport it corresponds to 'dressage' — doma clásica is classical dressage, doma vaquera is the traditional Spanish cowboy riding style. Do not confuse doma with domá (no accent); the word has no written accent.
