Usage Note

Agricultura refers to the practice and science of farming broadly. The adjective is agrícola (sector agrícola = 'farming sector'). Agricultor/agricultora is the farmer. Do not confuse with ganadería (livestock farming) — the two are often paired as agricultura y ganadería to cover all primary production.
