Curador has two main uses: in the arts, it is the professional who organizes and interprets a museum or gallery exhibition (curador de arte); in law, it is a court-appointed guardian for a person lacking full legal capacity. The feminine form is curadora. In Latin America both senses are common; in Spain the legal sense uses curador while the arts sense sometimes uses comisario.
