cuándo

when

adverb KWAHN-doh Less Common

Usage Note

Cuándo with a written accent is the interrogative and exclamative form (direct or indirect questions): ¿Cuándo llegas? and No sé cuándo llega. Without the accent, cuando is the relative/conjunction form: cuando llegues, llámame. Confusing the two is a very common written error.

Examples

"¿Cuándo empieza la película?"
