Blanquiazul is a compound colour adjective meaning 'blue and white' and is overwhelmingly used in sports to describe a team's strip. Several Spanish clubs — including Espanyol and Málaga — are nicknamed blanquiazules. The invariable plural adds only -es: colores blanquiazules.
