Usage Note

Admirar means to admire with respect or awe, and reflexively (admirarse de) means to be amazed or surprised by something: me admira su paciencia ('his patience amazes me'). The noun is admiración and an admirer is admirador/a. It is a regular -ar verb with no stem changes.
