Usage Note
Acudar is a rare or regional variant of apuntalar (to prop up, to shore up) used primarily in construction or agricultural contexts to describe supporting a structure or a vine. It is not standard in most Spanish-speaking regions and may be encountered in older technical texts or specific Iberian dialects. The more standard term is apuntalar.
