Usage Note
Aún (with accent) means 'still' or 'yet': aún no ha llegado ('he still hasn't arrived'). Without the accent, aun means 'even': aun así ('even so'). The accent is the only written distinction between these two words. In negative sentences aún no ('not yet') is more emphatic than todavía no, though both are correct and interchangeable in most contexts.
