Usage Note
Aun (without accent) means 'even' or 'although' and does not imply time: aun así ('even so'), aun cuando ('even when/although'). Do not confuse it with aún (with accent), which means 'still' or 'yet' and refers to time: aún no ha llegado ('he still hasn't arrived'). The accent is the only written distinction between these two very different words.
