Usage Note
Voracidad refers to an intense, almost uncontrollable appetite — for food, power, or knowledge. It is more literary than glotonería (gluttony) and can be used approvingly (la voracidad intelectual del estudiante). The adjective is voraz (pl. voraces), and its plural follows the -z -> -ces rule.
