Usage Note

Visibilidad covers both the meteorological sense (driving or flying visibility) and the modern figurative sense of public profile or exposure: dar visibilidad (to give visibility/raise awareness) is now standard in social and media discourse. The phrase baja visibilidad (low visibility) appears in weather and aviation; visibilidad cero is used both literally and figuratively.
