Usage Note
Tu (no accent) is the informal singular possessive determiner, meaning 'your' when addressing someone as tú. It must not be confused with tú (with accent), the subject pronoun 'you'. Unlike English 'your', tu does not change for noun gender but does have a plural form tus for plural nouns (tu libro, tus libros). For formal address, use su instead.
Examples
"Tu libro está en la mesa."
Natural Translation
Your book is on the table.
