Usage Note
Triunfal is an adjective only (no feminine change — it ends in -al) and collocates strongly with arco triunfal ('triumphal arch') and entrada triunfal ('triumphal entry'). It carries a grand, ceremonial tone; for describing a person who has triumphed more casually, triunfante or victorioso are the better choices.
Examples
"El equipo hizo una entrada triunfal al estadio."
Natural Translation
The team made a triumphal entrance into the stadium.
