Traza has two main senses: a trace or mark left by something, and a plan or layout (especially architectural). The plural trazas is also used informally to mean 'looks' or 'appearance' — tiene trazas de ser un experto means 'it looks like he is an expert.' The related verb trazar means to draw, trace, or map out a route.
