Sugerir is an irregular stem-changing verb (e→ie in present: sugiero, sugieres; e→i in preterite third persons and subjunctive: sugirió, sugirieran). It takes the subjunctive in subordinate clauses: Sugiero que vengas temprano. The noun is sugerencia ('suggestion').
