Usage Note

Sajón refers to the Germanic Saxons of medieval history or, in modern usage, to Anglo-Saxon culture and the English-speaking world (el mundo anglosajón). The feminine is sajona, plural sajones/sajonas. In Latin American political discourse los sajones can be a somewhat loaded way of referring to North Americans or the Anglophone world.
