Rima can denote both the abstract concept of rhyme (the correspondence of sounds at line endings) and a short lyric poem, especially in the tradition of Bécquer's Rimas. Rima consonante is full rhyme (matching vowels and consonants); rima asonante is assonance (vowels only). The verb is rimar (to rhyme).
