Usage Note
Rebajado describes a price that has been cut (precio rebajado), a ceiling or arch that has been lowered architecturally (arco rebajado), or a person who has been humiliated or demoted. In sales contexts rebajas (the noun) refers to seasonal sales. The verb rebajar also means to dilute a liquid or to talk someone down from an inflated self-image.
