Usage Note
Pádel (sometimes spelled padel) is a racket sport played on an enclosed court with glass walls, combining elements of tennis and squash. It is enormously popular in Spain and Argentina and should not be confused with paddle tennis, a separate U.S. sport. The written accent on the á fixes the stress on the first syllable; without it, Spanish stress rules would place it on the last.
Examples
"Juegan al pádel todos los sábados."
Natural Translation
They play padel every Saturday.
