Prácticamente is used as an intensifier meaning 'almost' or 'virtually': prácticamente terminé (I've practically finished). It is interchangeable with casi in most everyday contexts, but prácticamente carries a slightly more formal tone. Do not confuse with de forma práctica (in a practical way), which describes manner rather than approximation.
