Usage Note
Planteado is the past participle of plantear used attributively. It describes an issue, question, or problem that has been formally put forward or framed (el problema planteado, the problem as posed). It is very common in academic and legal writing and should not be confused with plantado, which means 'stood up' or 'left behind'.
