Also means
to look like
Usage Note
Parecer works like gustar: the thing that seems goes in the subject position, and the experiencer is marked with an indirect-object pronoun — me parece bien ('it seems fine to me'). Parecerse a (reflexive) means 'to resemble': te pareces a tu madre ('you look like your mother'). The two uses are distinct and easy to conflate.
Examples
"Parece que va a llover."
Natural Translation
It seems like it's going to rain.
