Usage Note

Nuestro is the first-person plural possessive, agreeing with the noun possessed in gender and number: nuestro coche, nuestra casa, nuestros amigos, nuestras ideas. Unlike su, it is unambiguous in reference. The stressed post-nominal form el nuestro / la nuestra functions as a possessive pronoun: mi casa es grande, pero la nuestra es pequeña 'my house is big, but ours is small'.
