Notablemente modifies verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs to signal a significant or impressive degree: mejoró notablemente (improved markedly). It is a formal register word; in casual speech mucho or bastante are more common. Do not confuse it with notoriamente (notoriously), which carries a negative connotation.
