Usage Note
Milanés refers to anything from or relating to Milan, Italy. The feminine form is milanesa, which is also the name of a popular Latin American and Spanish dish: a breaded, fried cutlet of meat (milanesa de ternera). The two uses can overlap — a la milanesa means 'cooked in the Milanese style'. The accent is dropped in the feminine: milanesa (no accent).
Examples
"Pedí una milanesa con papas fritas."
Natural Translation
