Manejo covers the handling or management of a situation (manejo de conflictos = conflict management) and, in Latin America, the act of driving a car (manejo de vehículos), where Spain uses conducción. The verb manejar is the standard word for 'to drive' in most of Latin America, while Spain uses conducir.
