Madridista is the demonym/fan label for supporters and elements associated with Real Madrid football club. As an adjective it is invariable for gender (el estilo madridista, la afición madridista); as a noun it applies to men and women equally. Its direct rival counterpart is culé (Barça fan). Outside football contexts it is not used.
