Usage Note
Introducción covers an introductory section of a text, a formal presentation of one person to another, and the act of introducing or bringing something into a system (introducción de datos = 'data entry'). The verb is introducir, but beware the false friend: to introduce people socially Spanish uses presentar, not introducir. Plural follows the regular -ión → -iones pattern.
