Usage Note

Introducido is the past participle of introducir used attributively. It describes something that has been brought in, launched, or inserted — una especie introducida ('an introduced species'), un producto recientemente introducido ('a recently launched product'). It can also describe a person who is well-connected or established in a social or professional circle: está muy introducido en el sector ('he is very well-connected in the sector').
