Usage Note
Indefinición denotes a state of being undefined, unclear, or unresolved. It is a formal, often political or legal term: la indefinición del proyecto de ley (the vagueness of the draft law). The antonym is definición and the related adjective is indefinido—but note that indefinido in grammar refers to the indefinite article, while in labour law it means 'open-ended' (as in contrato indefinido, a permanent contract).
Examples
"La indefinición del acuerdo generó muchas dudas."
Natural Translation
The vagueness of the agreement raised many doubts.
