Usage Note
Incontenible is formed with the prefix in- (negation) plus contenible (containable), from contener (to contain). It frequently appears with emotional nouns: llanto incontenible (uncontrollable weeping), risa incontenible (irrepressible laughter). It is invariable for gender but adds -s in the plural.
