Imperceptible describes something so slight or subtle that it cannot be detected by the senses or mind. It is an invariable adjective — the same form serves both masculine and feminine: cambio imperceptible, diferencia imperceptible. The adverb form is imperceptiblemente. The antonym is perceptible. It is often used in scientific or literary registers to describe extremely small changes.
