Usage Note
Gravitatorio is a technical adjective used in physics and astronomy: campo gravitatorio (gravitational field), fuerza gravitatoria (gravitational force). It is synonymous with gravitacional, which is more common in Latin American scientific writing, while gravitatorio is preferred in Spain. Both are standard and understood across the Spanish-speaking world.
